It's a 1.5 megabyte file (you'll need Adobe Reader to view it) and contains 11 pages of Greek fonts to choose from (22 typefaces in all).
Please note that Ancient Greek was normally written in upper case and the Lithos font on page 3 is a popular choice.
On the other hand, if you want the full set of accents that were invented later and have been in use until about 30 years ago, you should choose one of the polytonic typefaces.

strofes is set in Eurostile.  It's available through Linotype (www.lintype.com), but check first to see if you've got it loaded on your system (it's on mine)

I've seen the typeface of the tattoo in your picture...but I can't remember what it is....

It is really a very good information about the greek fonts and it clears all the doubts regarding this. It is very difficult to translate in to any other language.

The New Testament was in all caps (as far as I can understand) and was handwritten (obviously).

Is there a font anywhere that mimics how the Scriptures look?  The only all cap Greek fonts look like block letters.  Any suggestions?

I doubt, however, that you'll find a font that tries to bring together the various idiosyncratic hands of the first century C.E.  To give you some idea of what you'd be looking for, here's a scrap of papyrus from the first century (from a speech of Demosthenes).  And it's one of the neater hands!  It would be a brave soul who tried to create a font from this model!

I have found several clean copies.  This is the textus vaticus.  I know it is like 400 ce (i think) but it is better then the block font I have been finding.

I would be pretty happy with something like this. 

Or is this not considered the original greek?

Yes, that's nice majuscule script, ca. 400.  You should be able to find such a font, if you shop around.  As I say, our fontmaster may be along to help.

The Ignacio is really nice.  So is the Jackson.  I'd go for either one.  What do others think?
