Εδώ έχει «incontinent persons» (πάσχοντα από ακράτεια) αλλά το «helpless» είναι ακριβώς η έννοια.

Δεν νομίζω πάντως ότι το κείμενό μου αφορά πάσχοντα από ακράτεια άτομα (αν και δεν αναλύει τι εννοεί). Μάλλον ο όρος είναι γενικότερος.

Ίσως και physically or mentally incompetent persons, αν απαιτείται πιο διπλωματικό / politically correct ύφος.
