I'm not looking for the vocabulary as much as I am the formulaic structure:  "We ask God to give Y to Z", or "We pray to X to make Y Z", or "We ask God to do X so that Y may be Z".  Just a general sense of what grammatical structure I should be using.  Sorry if this is not the correct Forum!
