The perversion of the ommipresent intellectuals?
The widespread intellectual perversion?
Intellectual perversion has no boundaries?
The borderless distribution of intellectual(ly)  perverts?

The book is about spirituality so it is not intellectuals but "spirituat teachers".

Yes, not only teachers/masters and also those who are involved in healings, channeling and all kinds of spiritual staff.

Ι like the first one.  Could διαστροφή refer to their teachings rather than their natures?  Like "The distortions"?

Spiros suggested that the book refers to spiritual teachers (instructors). In Greece, when we refer to πνευματικός as a noun and not as an adjective we mean the priest who is one's spiritual guide and to whom one confesses his or her sins and asks for absolution.

No, it is about people who are involved in spiritual staff. As they evolve spiritually their ego grows bigger as well.

Well, yes and no. When you let's say begin a spiritual quest and start to be involved in all kinds of spiritual staff (e.g. yoga, tantra, all kinds of meditations, taro, prayers, angels, entities, etc.), you also can be called a spiritual person.

Then better put spiritual person instead of teacher.

The content of the chapter of the book would reveal what is meant with διαστροφή. I guess, it is not the nature of the spiritual guides but their functions. Most of them observe the commandments of their religion or set of beliefs and try to guide their flock or followers according to the Holy Scriptures. Some of them have a one-track-mind and their most favored motto is repent or else you will be punished in the afterlife (if there is any!). Therefore, I suggest that the word perversion is not the appropriate one. Better use the word distortion or one-track-mindedness or narrow mindedness or parochialism.

Indeed. In fact, we need much more context.

Hi, thank you very much. Maybe I will leave out the word teachers. What do you think about spiritual ones or people?

It is about men's nature, when they become identified with or attached to what they do. Thank you to all of you for your suggestions.
