The Festival to honor European Warriors

If someone could help,

There is a small celebratioin in which our social club would like to name a holiday that we will celebrate after the people who fought for the defense of Europe from ancient times to the present.  We decided that Marathon was the first real confrontation when the Asiatic Persians tried to conquer Europe so we would like to use the ANCIENT Greek translation of "The Festival to honor European Warriors", of course along with the pronounciation.

Thank you anyone.

My suggestion:

ΤΩΝ ΕΥΡΩΠΑΙΩΝ ΜΑΧΗΤΩΝ ΤΑ ΝΙΚΗΤΗΡΙΑ
Ton Evropaion Makheton ta Neketeria
roughly pronounced: ton evropEon makheetOn ta neekeetEEria

which means The Festival of Victory of European Warriors

Neketeria, though an ancient word, is very familiar to the Greeks because it is used in a hymn to the Virgin Mary still sung in churches.
You realize, of course, that Evropaion for Europeans cannot be an ancient word.

And here's what it might look like in those days:

Thank you very much Nickel.

About there being no translation for "European" in Ancient Greek text, I read Herodotus's "Histories" and he mentioned the continent of Europe inhabited by such and such different peoples.  But, I did not recall him mentioning Europeans as a whole category, and of course most others were barbarians to them anyways.

So, once again I thank you, and we will use this on our invitations.
