Wendy Battin is the author of four books of poems, including In the Solar Wind (Doubleday), a selection of the National Poetry Series, and Little Apocalypse (Ashland), winner of the Snyder Prize. She is the recipient of grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Ingram-Merrill Foundation. She is teaching in Athens with DIKEMES/College Year Abroad.

Charles O Hartman has published six books of poetry (most recently The Long View) with Wesleyan, Godine and Sun & Moon and is the author of the widely-read Free Verse: An essay in Prosody (Princeton). He also is the recipient of grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Ingram-Merrill Foundation. He is teaching in Athens with DIKEMES/College Year Abroad.
