Battin is the author of four books of poems, including

the Solar Wind (Doubleday), a selection of the National
Poetry Series, and Little
Apocalypse (Ashland), winner of the Snyder Prize.
She is the recipient of grants from the National Endowment
for the Arts and the Ingram-Merrill Foundation. She
is teaching in Athens with DIKEMES/College Year Abroad.
