Title: To my beautiful Greek goddess → Στην όμορφη Ελληνίδα θεά μου
Post by: arranb on 11 May, 2007, 07:37:35
Hi,
Could someone please help with the translation of the above phrase into moden Greek. I have attempted it myself but it doesn't match exactly the machine translation  (Στην όμορφη ελληνική θεά μου)  and would like to confirm it is correct as it's going on a present.
Many thanks
Arran

A little punctuation would help a lot here, Arran.  Like, do you mean "To my beautiful Greek goddess.  Love, A."?
And may we assume you want it in modern Greek?

I have edited the text to reflect a more accurate statement. (Plan to put it on a candle pair for a woman who has everthing!! One will have this in Greek the other in English... will see if it works lol)
Thanks
Arran

You can say: Στην όμορφή μου Ελληνίδα θεά or Στην όμορφη Ελληνίδα θεά μου.
