Post by: themis on 23 Nov, 2006, 11:26:20
Προσπαθώ να βάλω ένα cross-reference στο Multiterm αλλά μου λέει ότι πρέπει να επιλέξω το layout ποτ περιέχει distinctive formatting για cross-reference text, πως ξέρω ποιο είναι αυτό το layout;;

Thank you!

Θέμις,

Καλημέρα. Cross references μπορείς να φτιάξεις μόνο όταν κάνεις Edit ένα λήμμα με περιγραφικά πεδία. Τα cross references πρέπει να σε οδηγούν από ένα string ενός περιγραφικού πεδίου σε ένα νέο λήμμα. Έχεις ορίσει περιγραφικά πεδία στο termbase definition;

MultiTerm 2015 - hyperlinked text in notes? (SDL Trados support) (http://www.proz.com/forum/sdl_trados_support/292810-multiterm_2015_hyperlinked_text_in_notes.html#2478871)

Tworzenie odwołań krzyżowych (cross-references) w aplikacji SDL MultiTerm - YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t9eZWalPjvA)

MultiTerm Convert vs the Glossary Converter - YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FnHNRulDArQ)

In the above tutorial you are shown a way to maintain links from Excel in MultiTerm using MultiTerm Convert. The same thing can be done with Glossary Converter. So here is the procedure.

Make sure that links are displayed as text like this:

Code: [Select]
<xref Ulink="https://www.translatum.gr/forum/index.php?topic=399876.0"> Source </xref>
Or, if you want the actual link rather than the hyperlinked word "Source" (you can use any word you want):

Code: [Select]
<xref Ulink="https://www.translatum.gr/forum/index.php?topic=399876.0"> https://www.translatum.gr/forum/index.php?topic=399876.0 </xref>
Go ahead with the conversion in Glossary Converter. Open the sdltb file and export it as MultiTerm xml. Also export the definition.
Open the xml file with Notepad++ and perform these file replacements:

Find:<
Replace:<

Find:>
Replace:>

Close and save. Use the definition you exported previously to create a new MultiTerm database and then import the xml file. (If you had imported directly in the old database you would get duplicates).
