ὑλακή → barking, howling

Hi, the phrase "ὑλακή· ὅρᾱ τὸ ὑλακτῶ." appears in the Greek boy at home vocabulary by Rouse.
I don't quite understand what Rouse intends to communicate.

Possible translation: Look! (no infinitive?) I bark?
Shouldn't the translation be something like; action noun (from) /I bark/?
