Schiller is the main project of Christopher von Deylen (born October 1970, in Visselhövede, Lower Saxony, Germany), a German musician, composer and producer. He has won the ECHO-award (2002) for the Best Dance-Single of the Year. The name of the band is taken from one of von Deylen's heroes, famed German poet Friedrich Schiller.
Christopher Von Deylen does not provide vocals for any of his compositions. Instead, he chooses to collaborate with singers from within and outside of Germany.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Yee1ZMOVuYSchiller mit Heppner - Dream of youI've been here all the time
As far as I know doing right
I've always waited for the moment
That you would come through my door
But this brought loneliness so far
I lay my hand onto my heart
Is this a life I want to live?
Is this the dream I had of you? (x2)
Now I'm standing here alone
Waiting on my own
For something that will fill the emptiness inside
The moment that you're mine
But this is loneliness I know
I lay my hand onto my soul
Is this what life has got to give?
Is this the dream I had of you?
... the dream I had of you?
