I would like to translate this sentence from a textbook exercise. I understand it says 'The word of the wise is worthy of honour/esteem...' but I do not understand the function of τοῖς ἀνθρώποις in this case. Could somebody help me with this?

Dative of interest or advantage. Loosely: "For most people, the advice of a wise woman is worth honoring."

Thank you, I didn't know about this. I guess the book just wants readers to think on their own with some exercises. I find this use of dative quite similar to the indication of the indirect object.
