Translate po / pot files with SDL-Trados Studio 2011

You will need to use the attached File Type Definition for PO.

Hi,

I added the file type I downloaded from SDL website, and ran the wizard. Yet when I try to change the usage of my file to translatable, it just says try adding the file type from Project Settings. Any tips?

Can you please e-mail your file so that I can check, use the e-mail from which you receive the forum notifications.

What Studio version do you have?

Apologies for the delayed reply. I never a notification for your reply. How can I email you the PO file? Which email address should I use?

Thanks

I added the PO file type definition which I downloaded from Translation Zone, uploaded the PO file, but it is still reference. When I tried to switch it into translatable, it says "no matching file type could be found. YOu have to add a suitable file type via Project Settings." At this point, I am clueless.
