πᾶς ὁ ὑψῶν ἑαυτὸν ταπεινωθήσεται καὶ ὁ ταπεινῶν ἑαυτὸν ὑψωθήσεται -> for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted
Title: πᾶς ὁ ὑψῶν ἑαυτὸν ταπεινωθήσεται καὶ ὁ ταπεινῶν ἑαυτὸν ὑψωθήσεται -> for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted (Luke 14:11)

Just thought I'd mention the quote immediately reminded me of Hesiod, W&D 6-8.

"easily he humbles the proud and raises the obscure, and easily he straightens the crooked and blasts the proud, —Zeus who thunders aloft"
Title: πᾶς ὁ ὑψῶν ἑαυτὸν ταπεινωθήσεται καὶ ὁ ταπεινῶν ἑαυτὸν ὑψωθήσεται -> for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted (Luke 14:11)
