To "every cloud has a silver lining" μού ήρθε πρώτο στο μυαλό... Αν και ίσως ταιριάζει περισσότερο στο "ουδέν κακόν αμιγές καλού". Θα επανέλθω.

Μπράβο Βίκυ, εγώ είχα βάλει προσωρινά "every obstacle is for a good cause" (μου δίνει και ένα αποτελεσματάκι από UK), αλλά σαν proverb ακόμα καλύτερα... (btw, είναι σίγουρο όρι δεν έχει βάλει ο Μέρφυ το χεράκι του στη λίστα;; :-)))))

Άλλη πρόταση (εφόσον είναι σαφές ότι σε επίπεδο αγγλικής παροιμίας έχουμε το "every cloud..."):

Λοιπόν, πολύ ωραίες όλες αυτές οι παροιμίες, και πολύ αντιπροσωπευτικές, όμως δεν μπορεί να ξεκολλήσει από το μυαλό μου η φράση ''Everything happens for a reason'', η οποία, σε επίπεδο καθημερινότητας, νομίζω είναι αρκετά ταιριαστή.
