Wonderful resources; thanks! So theoretically the Greek equivalent of Mycenaean ri-ne-ja (ca. 14th cent. BCE) is λινειαι, not extant in historical Greek but analyzed as a feminine nominative plural referring hypothetically to females who work with linen. I wonder why they suppose the final syllable -αι is long, contrary to normal Greek, giving the penult an acute accent instead of a circumflex?
