Η ταχεία βιοψία ήταν θετική για Ca.. Από το ΙΑΤΕ βρήκα το extemporaneous examination.

The extemporaneous examination consists in interpreting a few histological slices during the surgical act in order to orient the surgical procedure.

The indication for such an extemporaneous examination is decided by the surgeon in accordance with the pathologist. The delay induced to the operating time and the slightly inferior quality of slides in comparison with standard procedures should limit the indications to genuinely relevant situations.
