Εκτός από την τιμή ανά λέξη πιθανός πελάτης ζητάει και τα εξής:

Αll rates should be 0,00 νόμισμα or higher, up to a maximum of 1.00 νόμισμα

Rates when using CAT tools:
Repetitions = ?
100% match = ?
95% - 99% match = ?
85% - 94% match = ?
75% - 84% match = ?
50% - 74% match = ?
No match = ?

Trados rates by a localization company:

Here is our Trados Payment Method, that we think is a fair approach which has been accepted by most of our resources:

No match: 100% of the fee
less than 75% matches: 100% of the fee*
75-94% matches: 75% of the normal fee

Repetitions: 10% of the fee for validation

95-99% matches: 0 [Often only formatting changes. The editor takes care of them.]**
100% matches: 0 payment***

*While 75% is our standard border value, it can change up to 85% or even 95% depending on the project. The engineers make this decision and it is based on the technical cleanliness of the files. For the resources this means that usually, they are paid 100% of their rate for matches under 75% but that full payment can occasionally also happen under 85% or 95%.

**Typically, we ask the translators to skip these matches as the changes are so minimal that they can be taken care of safely by the editor. However, there are projects, where the strategy is changed and the translator takes care of these as well. This is usually the case when the project does not feature editing or if the project is so complex that it makes sense to have the translator invest the knowledge gained during translation also in these matches. When the translator takes care of this matches he is paid 15% of the normal fee.

***In most projects, we are forced by the client to skip these matches.
However, there are projects that might require editing of 100% matches, and there are projects - for example the cleaning of a messed up project by a different vendor - where the translator goes through all of them, a pass that would probably be paid by the hour.
