ἀγαλακτοσύνη -> consanguinity, kinship?

I don't get how the privative a denotes kinship here

ἀγάλακτος  (α collect.) = ὁμογάλακτος, Hsch.; also ἀγαλακτοσύνη = συγγένεια, Id.
ἀγάλακτος - Ancient Greek (LSJ)

  • Words ail me.
What LSJ seems to call "α collectivum" is apparently identical with what grammarians like Smyth and Beekes call "ἁ- (or ἀ-) copulative," appearing in such words as ἀδελφός, ἀκόλουθος, ἄλοχος, etc.
The word ἀγαλακτοσύνη itself appears in no ancient source outside of Hesychius (alpha.294.1 ἁγαλακτοσύνη>· συγγένεια), while alpha.255.1 <ἁγάλακτος>· ἡ ὁμόθηλος is likewise unique to Hesychius.
