Sphinx search server installed on forum
As the number of posts had increased to the point of MySQL performance degradation and difficulties in indexing,
Sphinx was installed on the server.
What does this mean for users? First of all, faster, more reliable search. Additionally, the search algorithm has been modified to give higher priority to subjects, and especially the part of the subject before the " → " bit, thus positioning translated terms higher than other results.
