SDL Trados - how to import a translation memory in tmx or txt format

1. Launch Trados Translator's Workbench.
2. Open an existing translation memory (which is the same pair as the pair of the import file, i.e. English to Greek) or create a new translation memory (see further down Creating a new translation memory).
3. Click File, Import, OK
4. Double click on the tmx or txt file (if you cannot see them make sure in Files of type you have selected the appropriate file type).
5. The translation memory is imported. Once it is finished, you will see an update on the status line at the bottom Trados Translator's Workbench indicating the number of terms that were successfully imported.

Creating a new translation memory

1. On Trados Translator's Workbench click File New.
2. Select Source language and Target language
3. Click Create
4. Enter the name of the translation memory
5. Click Save

Πες μου κάτι με την ευκαιρία. Εκείνο το εργαλείο που έφτιαξες, «το δικό σου Τράντος» είναι εντελώς ιδιοταγές λογισμικό (https://www.translatum.gr/forum/index.php?topic=30735.0), ε;

Ιδιοταγός είναι εκείνος που εκλαμβάνει εαυτόν ως ταγό;

Ναι.
