MultiTerm error - unable to edit term (java.lang.NullPointerException)

Description
When you try to edit a term in MultiTerm and click on the Edit button, the term goes blank and then the following error messages appear:

1. A small popup with Microsoft Internet Explorer in its title bar with the word null.
2. When you click OK you get another popup with the string java.lang.NullPointerException.

Solution
1. Go to Control Panel and click on Java.
2. Go to the Advanced tab and under Java Plug-in, disable the check box Enable the next-generation Java plug-in (requires restart).
3. Restart your system

Dear Spiros
You are a life-saver by posting this tip - with such an easy and effective solution. It certainly worked for me.
My old MultiTerm databases with some entries in them were OK, but I couldn't get any new ones to work at all.
The new ones always came up with the null pointer message when trying to add the very first entry.

I'm a fan of your site and what you're doing here, although I've only dabbled a bit in Greek.
Very best wishes
Maureen

MultiTerm can be a pain indeed!

You are very welcome, Greek is not a prerequisite here ;)
