"Beggin" is the title of a song composed by Bob Gaudio and Peggy Farina and popularized by "The Four Seasons" in 1967, with Frankie Valli as the lead singer. It reached the #16 position on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.
In 2007, French musician Pilooski, re-edited and released his version of the song on the 2nd of June. This version reached #32 in the UK and #1 on the UK Dance Chart. It's the first single of the album "Beggin' The Ultimate Collection". The Pilooski re-edit, does not include any new instrumentation or vocals but is purely a manipulation of the original recording made by The Four Seasons, using echo and phase-polarisation.
Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons - Beggin' (Pilooski re-edit)
Put your loving hand out, baby
I'm beggin'
(Beggin') beggin'
Put your loving hand out, baby
(Beggin') beggin' you
Put your loving hand out, baby
Riding high when I was king
Played it hard and fast cause I had everything
You walked away, won me then
But easy come and easy go and it would end
(Beggin') I'm begging you
Won't you give your hand out, baby
(Beggin') beggin'
Put your loving hand out, baby
I need you to understand
That I tried so hard to be your man
The kind of man you want in the end
Only then can I begin to live again
An empty shell used to be
Shadow of my life is hanging over me
Broken man without a throne
Wont even stand the devils dance to win my soul
(Beggin') beggin' you
Won't you give your hand out, baby
(Beggin') beggin' you
Put your loving hand out, baby
I'm fighting hard to hold my own
No, I just can't make it all alone
I'm holding on I can't fall back
Now that big brass ring is a shade of black
(Begging' I'm beggin' you
Won't you give your hand out, baby
(Beggin') beggin'
Put your loving hand out, baby
(Beggin') beggin' you
