κατανοήσατε τὰ κρίνα [τοῦ ἀγροῦ] πῶς αὐξάνει· οὐ κοπιᾷ οὐδὲ νήθει → Look at field-lilies, how they keep growing. They don't toil, they don't spin. (Luke 12:27)

This is also from Oscar Wilde. Apologies if I'm posting too many topics, but I tried my best to decypher it before I posted. This is as far as I got:
"be content with houseleeks of the field, for this will decrease the work but not the plant"
But this doesn't make sense to me. It is perhaps biblical?

This is of course Luke 12:27 (with some conflation with Matthew 6:28). It's been horribly misprinted, but that's typical in the publishing business these days. The correct reading is
κατανοήσατε τὰ κρίνα [τοῦ ἀγροῦ] πῶς αὐξάνει· οὐ κοπιᾷ οὐδὲ νήθει·
And it means, "Look at [field-]lilies, how they keep growing. They don’t toil, they don’t spin."
