Title: Extracting strings from a licensed translation bundle of Passolo Translator Edition
Post by: spiros on 03 Mar, 2007, 19:08:45
PROBLEM: You have a licensed translation bundle from PASSOLO Translator Edition (http://www.passolo.com/en/download.stm) (extension .tbulic600) and you want to export the contents (strings) of the project by creating a glossary from the licensed bundle. Even if one has Passolo Team Edition 6 it is not possible to import the bundle unless it was exported (and licensed) by the same installation.

SOLUTION: You need the PASSOLO Translator Edition to open licensed bundles. It has no export functionality, but you can open the string list (by clicking at each file), select all strings (CTRL+A) and select Translation/Store Translation (CTRL+F10) to write all strings to a glossary. Then go to the glossary folder of Passolo Translator Edition and open the .glo file with notepad.
