Hello there,
Is this line grammatically correct?
Παιδια, μια και επισκεφθηκατε αυτο το μερος,θ΄αφησω την Αθηνα στα χερια σας.
It should mean something like
"To you [children/young men] who have come to this place,
I leave Athena in your hands."
It's a variation of the "To the young men who have come to this place..." which
I asked about in the English→ Greek forum, where one of the forum members kindly helped me out.
I would like to know if this particular variation, suggested by a friend of mine who is a non-native speaker, also works as well.
Your help is greatly appreciated.
