Beetext partners with Kilgray

The two independent software companies unite to offer a unique Translation Management Solution.

Montreal, April 21, 2009 – Beetext, a leading provider of Workflow management solutions, announced today a new partnership with Kilgray, provider of award-winning MemoQ translation memory.

The two software companies joined forces to integrate MemoQ translation memory to Beetext Flow workflow management system, creating a new independent alternative to Idiom Worldserver, which will soon no longer be supported by SDL-Trados.

“The bridge between our technologies leads the industry to a new approach in complete translation management. From now on, creating a Translation Memory project manually is part of the past, as it can now be automated as part of a standard workflow. It is now possible to automatically feed the central translation memory at the end of a translation project, as part of the workflow. Additionally, translators will be able to focus on the translation activity rather than spending time creating server projects. These processes become more efficient than ever, and it is with a great deal of pride and enthusiasm that we offer a complete solution which covers all spheres of the translation business, covering both the management and linguistic aspects”, specified Beetext founder and CEO, Mr Benoit Desjardins.

“The integration of Beetext Flow with our MemoQ Server versions unleash the full power of collaboration and offer unparalleled networking with access to distributed resources. From the outset, MemoQ was designed having the workflow in mind. Flexible licensing constructions and unique customization allow you to make the most out of your investment, recouping your investment within 4-6 months”, explains István Lengyel, Chief Operating Officer at Kilgray Translation Technologies.

“In today’s global market, it is not enough to have the best tools at hand; these tools need to be linked together to generate a real synergy in order to cut down costs, and achieve unmatched productivity levels. Our strategic partnership with Beetext will provide the industry with a solution it has long been waiting for: a web-based platform that does it all. We have the fastest server side translation memory solution available on the market, and Beetext is focused on all around management through web interfaces. They provide the workflow management component and we provide the translation tools, they focus on the business aspect and we focus on the linguistic side, which results in a complete solution” says Mr Lengyel.
