I have a used/like-new copy of the Babiniotis dictionary, hardcover, excellent condition, no marks, no highlighting, clean as a whistle. This is it:

[Babiniotis] Μπαμπινιοτης Γεωργιος 2002: Λεξικο Της Νεας Ελληνικης Γλώσσας - Δευτερη Εκδοση (Athens: Κεντρο Λεξικολογιας Ε.Π.Ε.), 2,032 pgs. ISBN 960-86190-1-7.

Naturally I'd love to own it, but have no idea what it costs new or what the 2000 edition is worth used.  What are you hoping to get for it?

I bought this book one year ago for 90 euros. I'd like to sell it for 45 + s/h. I am in Rhodes, Greece. Shipment in Europe can go first-class for about 10 euros, but getting it to the US would be more expensive. So, if you're in Europe, I could get it to you in about a week for 55 euros.

This copy is the second edition, the new edition. A reprint was issued last year, but the only difference I can see is on the cover. Otherwise the content is the same. Really, it is an amazing book. I have other Greek dictionaries, and this is the best.

(I got an older 2nd edition, a bit banged-up, which I am using myself. The one I'm selling is like-new)

Hey guys, I am looking for a Babiniotis dictionary to buy. Unfortunatelly, I can't find any on the internet, and I am located in Georgia US, so I can't find anything similar in stores here either. Does anybody have any suggestions or know anybody who would be interested in selling one??

Πωλείται το — Λεξικό της Νέας Ελληνικής Γλώσσας Γεωργίου Μπαμπινιώτη, έκδοση Α, ανατύπωση Α (Ιούλιος, 1998), για 30 ευρώ. Η τωρινή τιμή λιανικής για την τελευταία έκδοση (Δ΄) είναι 92,95 ευρώ.

Όπως βλέπετε, δεν το είχα για να σκονίζεται στο ράφι.

Δεν το χρειάζομαι πλέον, παντρεύτηκα, η γυναίκα μου τα ξέρει όλα -:)

Όχι μόνο τα ξέρει όλα, αλλά συν τοις άλλοις σου κοπανάει το λεξικό στο κεφάλι, βλέπω. :P
