I'm struggling to find an English translation for "πιστούχος". My understanding is that this refers to the person or organisation benefiting from credit (whereas the one extending credit would be "πιστωτής". My dictionary just gives "creditor" for both, which isn't very helpful. Can anyone help?
Many thanks,
Val

You're right. Πιστούχος is the beneficiary of the credit, the (ac)credited party.

Many thanks, both of you. I think I will use "credit beneficiary" as it works best in the particular context.
