Ἰησοῦς ὁ Ναζωραῖος ὁ Βασιλεὺς τῶν Ἰουδαίων (ΙΝΒΙ) → Jesus from Nazareth, King of the Jews [John 19:19]

Hello!

Wondering if anyone could help me out.  Am looking for a reliable translation of the greek inscription at the crucifixion- have been looking around and there's a lot of rubbish masquerading as the real thing.  In English it reads simply 'This is the king of the Jews' (importantly without reference to Nazareth).  My ancient greek is non existent and i dont really have access to any decent resources.  Any help would be much appreicated.

Hello, there!

The inscription was "I.N.B.I." and stood for the Greek "IΗΣΟΥΣ ΝΑΖΩΡΑΙΟΣ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΥΣ ΙΟΥΔΑΙΩΝ", meaning : "Jesus from Nazareth, the King of the Jews".

Here is some links, too.
