Annuit coeptis → Η Πρόνοια ευνόησε τα εγχειρήματά μας (Providence has favored our undertakings)

(https://www.translatum.gr/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fban-sidhe.com%2Fblog%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2007%2F01%2Fannuitcoeptissmall.jpg&hash=6e8e524c058b79374cff988b77248318c3981e40)
"Annuit Cœptis is one of two mottos (the other being Novus Ordo Seclorum) on the reverse side of the Great Seal of the United States. Taken from the Latin words annuo (to nod, approve) and coepio (to begin, undertake), it literally means "He approves the things which have been begun." (wikipedia)

Από λατινικο-αγγλικό λεξικό βρήκα ότι σημαίνει kai: "God favors our undertakings"/"God has favored us".
Πρόκειται για ένδειξη στο δολλάριο. Ξέρει κανείς αν υπάρχει κάποια επίσημη απόδοση της φράσης;
Βρήκα και αυτό εδώ, όμως, δεν είμαι σίγουρος αν είναι απολύτως σωστό: http://www.inout.gr/showthread.php?t=30081 (http://www.inout.gr/showthread.php?t=30081).

Ευχαριστώ πολύ για τη βοήθειά σας.

Ως προς τις δυο επιγραφές η μεν Annuit Coeptis μεταφράζεται ως <<Εκείνος( ο Θεός) ευνόησε τα εγχειρήματά μας>>
http://truth.freeforums.org/topic-t1314-15.html

Annuit Coeptis = "Η επιχείρηση μας τώρα είναι επιτυχημένη" γράφει στο πίσω μέρος του δολλαριού, πάνω απο την αιγυπτιακή πυραμίδα, κάτω απο αυτή λέεi: "Η Νέα Παγκόσμια Τάξη"

Annuit Coeptis

Translating ANNUIT COEPTIS

Annuit means to nod assent, to favor, to smile upon.
Coeptis means undertakings, endeavors, beginnings.

Annuit coeptis means "favors (lit., gives the nod to) undertakings." The subject must be supplied. Who favors? The Eye (Providence) does.

The verb annuit can be either present tense or perfect tense, therefore an accurate translation of the motto is: "Providence favors our undertakings" or "Providence has favored our undertakings." (The word "our" is supplied.)

(It has also been translated as: "He favors our undertakings" or "He has prospered our endeavors.")

The meaning of this motto is better understood when seen in its original classical context.

on the Great Seal of the United States of America, condensed by Charles Thompson, designer of the seal in its final form, from L. Juppiter omnipotes, audacibus annue coeptis "All-powerful Jupiter favor (my) daring undertakings," line 625 of book IX of Virgil's "Aeneid." The words also appear in Virgil's "Georgics," book I, line 40: Da facilem cursam, atque audacibus annue coeptis "Give (me) an easy course, and favor (my) daring undertakings." Thompson changed the imperative annue to annuit, the third person singular form of the same verb in either the present tense or the perfect tense. The motto also lacks a subject. The motto is often translated as "He (God) is favorable to our undertakings," but this is not the only possible translation. Thomson wrote: "The pyramid signifies Strength and Duration: The Eye over it & Motto allude to the many signal interpositions of providence in favour of the American cause." The original design (by William Barton) showed the pyramid and the motto Deo Favente Perennis "God favoring through the years."
