We don't normally translate names, dear Ashley's husband. For example, the new pope is Βενέδικτος (Venediktos) in Greek (for Benedictus), not Ευλογημένος (Evlogimenos) (for Blessed). We don't even Hellenize them any more. For example, Nicolas Cage is Νίκολας Κέιτζ, Nikolas Keitz, not Nikolaos Keitz. And Ashley is Άσλεϊ, e.g. Άσλεϊ Τζαντ for Ashley Judd. 1 more question about the translation of ash tree. I had someone translated it a long time ago before and they came up with δέντρο τέφρας. What is the differences??

δέντρο τέφρας is a literal translation of the two words and not of the tree!!! τέφρα is ash (as in "ashes to ashes")
