Turkish version of holy Qur'an to be published

LONDON, September 30 (IranMania) - Turkish version of the holy Qur'an will be published in the near future, IRNA reported.

Announcing this, managing director of Tarjoman-e Vahi Cultural Institute, Mohammad Naqdi said that the entity has so far translated and holy Qur'an into French, English, Azari and Spanish languages.

The four translations are currently being edited and will soon be published, he noted.

The institute has also undertaken to render the holy Qur'an in Chinese, Urdu and Pashtu languages, Naqdi said, adding that the center has so far managed to translate the holy book into 107 languages which were featured at the 16th International Qur'an Exhibition.

Biographies and portraits of translators were also put on public view at the event, he said.

Website www.ctho.ir has been launched to acquaint the public with translations of the Qur'an, Naqdi said.

He further said that the institute has compiled 2,000 written articles on the holy Qur'an, 1000 digital articles and 300 critiques, which will come in useful for researchers.
