Show message count in an email folder

Is there any way to display the total number of messages that are contained into my folders, either in Apple Mail or in Office365 webmail?

The easiest way would probably be to switch to Thunderbird for Mac.

Terry tried this one too, but it seems that we can't find a solution.
We just want to display the total number of messages in each of our 346 folders in order to get a screenshot.

Hmm, computers can be such obstinate creatures...
I'm not sure if Airmail: Airmail - Lightning Fast Mail Client for Mac might do the trick.
After that, there are a number of other e-mail clients for Mac: Mac email clients | Macworld

We've tried most of them, that's why I wrote to the forum.
