Alternative use of translation memory programs: using Trados analyse function to eliminate duplicates in a quotations book
I have been compiling a quotations collection, and indeed it was quite hard to spot duplicates since it was a 33,000 words Word file. So, the easiest way was to use Trados
Tools → Analyse, add the file, and once analysed, click on Export frequent segments (add the value 2 there).
This gives you a file with all duplicates which you can then proceed to eliminate.
