Hi, there!

Do you mean that you want to learn Greek?

Before learning other languages, Manuel, I'd first try to get a good grasp of English (for example, learn that English plurals never form with apostrophes:  "guys," not "guy's").  Next, to polish my English, and to form an excellent basis for learning other languages, I'd study Latin. If you can't do that in school, several good "teach yourself Latin" books are available.  Good luck!

Dear billberg23,

When someone is willing to learn another language, they do NOT necessarily need to have a perfect knowledge of their own language. Your advice is ill-informed as well as quite aggressive to someone expressing enthusiasm for language learning.

I second that, Marisa. Actually, one's skills in and understanding of one's native language improve during the process of learning another language.
