άρτι λανθάνω {?)

Fate in the Iliad?

a professor discussed a greek element in the iliad referring to how the characters are oblivious to their own fate. (they "dont know") i cant read what letters he wrote in the second word. any help?  "άρτι  --ν--νω

Could it be λανθάνω; I'm not at all sure about this, especially in connection with άρτι.

This is all the more puzzling because Homer never uses the word ἄρτι (= "just now").  Your best strategy is to buttonhole the professor and demand clarification.
