I'm working on a LCD display that only has monotonic capital letters, and I need a single character to represent that an electrical signal has gone "high" or turned "on." In English we use "H" and "L," for example.

Thank you for your time.

And the universal symbols "|" and "O" won't work in this context?
Τί δέ τις; Τί δ' οὔ τις; Σκιᾶς ὄναρ ἄνθρωπος. — Πίνδαρος

No, those are symbols for Power On/Off for a device, I'm presenting the state of multiple signals.

I'm using the numbers 1 and 0 right now, which is suitably universal, but we usually use letters. Our Spanish application uses "S" and "N" for example.  I'm still curious what the Greek letters would be.
