Νοw that we've straightened out the quotation and translation in your title, and placed the diacritical marks, we can get down to the real work of establishing the source.  It may be modern; so far, there's not a trace of it in extant ancient Greek texts.  (This is common on the Web, to attribute a pithy saying to an ancient author.)  As you probqbly know, Pythagoras (like Socrates) never left a written work.
Don't lose hope;  encourage others to help!
