Greetings all,

I've just switched the English language link on the Babel homepage to the new English language Babel blog.

http://en.towerofbabel.com/blog/

and provided links to all of the previous Babel pages until I incorporate all of the old content into the new blog.

I'd like to thank Rudy Carrera for being our first English language blogger to get the ball rolling, and Robb Kvasnek for getting the Esperanto blog rolling.

I've already installed the new Babel theme for the Spanish, Serbian and Turkish blogs also but these are only sneak peeks to the Babel community, before they're ready to be announced to the rest of the world.

We're still looking for more bloggers in more languages, as each blog can incorporate as many bloggers as possible. So if you'd like to be a Babel blogger get a hold of me.

Babel seeks multilingual and multicultural writers, editors, bloggers and translators proficient in using web tools to continue building in over 250 languages what has been recognized since 2001 by the United Nations as one of the most import social and human sciences online periodicals. There are over 250 subdomains of towerofbabel.com ready to be configured by those who are interested in taking the language-oriented subdomains and helping to build the tower, with the ability to install WordPress, Gallery, ZenCart, PhpGedView, Pligg, dotProject, Moodle, Joomla, phpbb, MediaWiki, WebCalendar, and Advanced Poll.

The construction of Babel began in January 1996 as the development of a new multilingual, multicultural online journal of arts and ideas, utilizing the new media of the web to reach out to as large and inclusive a world community as possible and celebrate human enlightenment regardless of language, cultural or social restrictions.Babel is now repositioning itself to take advantage of the advancements in web tools since its inception as well as the opportunities available in the 21st century.

Build your language’s tower by continuing what has already been pioneered as an attempt to build a tower aiming for the highest egalitarian, altruistic, philanthropic and humanitarian structures.

If you’re interested in helping to build the tower contact Malcolm Lawrence with a resume, bio, and link to your own personal webpage, indicating how you’d like to help build the tower and what your web skills are, especially with the tools mentioned above.

Babel is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization currently seeking funding. These positions currently offer no compensation but a meritocracy has already been established for when funding is secured.

My only objection concerns the term макендонскй (macedonian language).
