A cowardly beginning becomes a bad ending.

κακῆς = cowardly
ἀπ΄= no idea what this is...completely escaped me
ἀρχῆς = beginning
γίγνεται = becomes
τέλος = ending
κακόν = bad

The result of a bad beginning is a bad end.
From a bad beginning the outcome is a bad end.
A bad beginning results in a bad end.
