In this hymn, the expression "ἀνατολὴ ἀνατολῶν", how can we understand it exactly, because it varies between languages and it bears several versions.
Thank you.

In this Christmas hymn, Jesus is called "Sunrise of sunrises" (ἀνατολὴ ἀνατολῶν), probably because he is seen as finally illuminating a world in the grip of darkness, comparable to the freshly rising sun after the winter solstice.

Can we associate it to this :" ΘΕΟΣ θεῶν Κύριος ἐλάλησε καὶ ἐκάλεσε τὴν γῆν ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν ἡλίου μέχρι δυσμῶν"
(psalm 49:1)?

Of course the construction of ΘΕΟΣ θεῶν is the same, just like "King of kings and lord of lords" -> Βασιλεὺς βασιλέων καὶ κύριος κυρίων (Revelation 19:16).
