Wir sollten hier vorsichtig sein, wir sollten die Terrorgefahr nicht in Bosnien und Herzegowina lokalisieren. Man kann auch übertreiben, diese Übertreibung spielt nur den Extremisten und den Nationalisten in die Hand.
Ich erinnere daran, dass genau diese Übertreibungen Milošević dahin brachten, wo er alle hingebracht hat. Das sollten wir alle im Auge behalten.

We should not localise the terrorist threat to Bosnia and Herzegovina. One can also go over the top, but this exaggeration only plays into the hands of the extremists and nationalists.
I remember that it was precisely this sort of exaggeration that Mr Milosevic took in the same direction as he took everything else. We need to bear that in mind.
Η προβληματική φράση είναι η υπογραμμισμένη. Σας θυμίζω ότι τα γερμανικά μου δεν είναι πολύ δυνατά, νομίζω όμως ότι η αγγλική διατύπωση δεν με βοηθά. Μήπως θέλει να πει εδώ ότι ο Μιλόσεβιτς χρησιμοποίησε αυτή την υπερβολή (ότι η Β-Ε είναι λίκνο τρομοκρατών) για να οδηγήσει τα πράγματα εκεί που τα οδήγησε;
