Some people are lost in the fire, others are forged by it. I am iron and I forge myself. –> ἐν τῷ πυρί οἱ μὲν ἀπόλλυνται, οἱ δὲ κροτοῦνται· σιδηρᾶ δ' οὖσ' ἐμαυτὴν κροτῶ

Last one for a good while, again looking for help to finish a design for a tattoo canvas.

Again, the original author is unknown to me; I was simply given the phrase.

"Some people are lost in their fires, others are forged by them. I am iron and I forge myself."

I appreciate any help with the translation!

Sounds good:  ἐν τῷ πυρί οἱ μὲν ἀπόλλυνται, οἱ δὲ κροτοῦνται.
(Τhat's only 9 words in Greek.  Add another 4 words — σιδηρᾶ δ' οὖσ' ἐμαυτὴν κροτῶ — and you're only a word or two over the line with "I am iron and I forge myself" — assuming the subject is feminine.)  (You're welcome!)
