This statement is often passed off on the Internet as a "quotation from Aristotle's Politics."  It is in fact only a summary of Aristotle's opinions on music in Book 8 of the Politics.  Please read Book 8, especially Parts 5 through 7 (e.g. in Jowett's translation), and select a passage (12 words or less — see Rules above) you would like to see in the original Greek.  We'll be happy to provide it!
