Γεια σας, παιδιά. Έχω αρχίσει να φτιάχνω υπότιτλους για ένα μικρό βίντεο 4 λεπτών για το TED-ed "A day in the life of an ancient Egyptian doctor", και θα ήθελα να μου πείτε πώς θα αποδίδατε τη λέξη sed στο κείμενο. Πρέπει να είναι αρχικά λογικά.

Mήπως βγαίνει από το Skin Erythema Dose;

One of the workers at the temple construction site has injured his arm. When Peseshet arrives, the laborer’s arm is clearly broken, and worse, the fracture is a sed, with multiple bone fragments. Peseshet binds and immobilizes the injury.

An interesting modern coincidence.  Of course, those have nothing to do with the ancient Egyptian word sed, which is transliterated from the hieroglyphics.

Μήπως είναι λάθος έτσι; Τι λέτε;

Το δεύτερο σκέλος της πρότασης είναι περιττό. Όταν το κάταγμα είναι συντριπτικό, σημαίνει ότι υπάρχουν πολλαπλά θραύσματα.

Άρα: ... και το χειρότερο, το κάταγμα είναι συντριπτικό.
