In this last couplet of the 3rd Canto of Hymn & Lament for Cyprus 1974 of Ritsos, what exactly does the κρυφο- suggest? A wheeler-dealer? A trickster? Someone with their own agenda? As the opposite of δίκαιος it seems only to suggest a devious negotiator?
