Here is my translation to give the context of this word:-
Μιγάλ’ τραβάου ταλιπουρία,/ I suffer great hardship
γίδια ζαβά πινήντα τρία/ I can't look after fifty three eccentric goats
να φ’λάου ου έρμους δε μπουρού,= I cannot look after them, poor mr
κι θύμα να ’μι τού κιρού./ and be a victim of the weather.
Δε λεν να βρουν π’θινά σταμό, / like birds (?) they don't think of finding a stopping place
π’λαλάν σια ’κεί, π’λαλάν σια ’δω, / they race here, they race there
όπ’ παν αυτά, ικεί κι ’γω. / where they go, I also go.
Is π'θινα = πτηνά 'Ike birds';

Thanks, both. Apologies, Spiros, often I don't know where to submit topics. Does the Art & Literary section help with, say, a couple of queries in one verse or more? :)
