DVX 3 error: Unable to open the settings file

Move settings.dvset to a different folder. It can be found in C:\ProgramData\Atril\Déjà Vu X3
Then go to Files → Options → General, scroll down to the bottom and modify shared settings path to point to the new folder where settings.dvset resides.
