ἀγκυλόγλωσσον πάθος -> tongue-tie, contraction of the tongue

I would appreciate receiving an etymological explanation how the ancient Greek medical term αγκυλογλωςσον became Ancyloglosson (ankyloglossia = tongue-tie). Did the word  αγκυλος only mean ‘bent, curved’ or perhaps also ‘immobile, stiff, fixed’? The latter meaning applies to ‘tongue-tie’ better than the former.
