ἐπιχυτήριον -> perfusorium
περιχυτήριον

I cannot find the Latin meaning either. Some kind of glass bowl or filtering vessel? Foundry seems unlikely.

Right, I was thinking the περιῤῥαντήριον might be the container for the sprinkler, but you're right. A second look at DuCange ("vessel suited to pouring over fingers or hands") convinces me that we're talking about a cruet, a small pitcher used in Roman Catholic churches for purifying the priest's fingers with water and/or wine. Cf. Cruet - Wikipedia.

That indeed makes sense, but if one can dip their fingers (rather than pour over), then it is more like a bowl or cup ("Vide supra Nappus": poculum).

You could be right, although perfusorium certainly seems to imply a "pouring" rather than a "dipping." I'm stumped.
